About Ray
Hi, I’m Ray!
I get it — wanting to make a change can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re not sure where to begin. And finding a coach who truly listens, who understands your life, your schedule, and your body? That’s not always easy. That’s exactly why I do what I do. I’m a personal trainer here in Hoboken with over eight years of experience helping busy professionals, parents, athletes — and honestly, anyone who just wants to feel good in their body again.
This isn’t just my job — it’s what I’m passionate about. Yes, personal training is about fitness. But for me, it’s also about your mindset. It’s about showing up for yourself, facing challenges head-on, and discovering that you’re capable of so much more than you might believe.

My Story
Why I Do This Work

I started my own fitness journey over a decade ago, not really knowing where to begin. I tried it all — the fad diets, the fitness challenges that promise results but never deliver, the nutrition plans that leave you feeling depleted and frustrated. I’ve been there, and I’ll help you avoid those same pitfalls.
Along the way, I’ve had setbacks, injuries, and hit more than a few mental and physical plateaus. But it’s those experiences — the failures, the persistence, the choice to keep showing up — that shaped me into the coach I am today. They taught me how to listen, how to adapt, and how to guide others through their own ups and downs.
Outside of personal training, I also train and compete in Muay Thai. The discipline and focus that martial arts has taught me show up in every session. It’s helped me master how to help you push through — especially when things get uncomfortable.

Whether we’re lifting, boxing, or just working on getting back into a routine after a tough week, I’m here to support you and bring that same steady energy every time.

My Credentials
Why You Can Trust This Process
I bring years of education, real-life experience, and client results to every session. But credentials alone are not what make this work. I coach with empathy, focus, and flexibility. My job is to help you feel confident in your body and clear in your direction. No matter where you are starting from.

My Training Philosophy
Fitness Should Fit Your Life
Are you tired of workout plans that feel like one more thing on your already full plate? Do you feel like you’re either “all in” or totally off track? Have you ever looked at a fitness program and thought, “Who is this actually for?”
You are not alone. I hear this every week.
That’s why I build training that works withyour real life. Not a perfect version of it. Your workouts should leave you feeling better, not more stressed or more behind. They should build confidence and momentum, even on hard days!

I coach people who are busy, overwhelmed, coming back from injury, raising kids, or starting over. If that’s you, we can figure it out together. No judgment. No unrealistic plans. Just consistent, supportive training that meets you where you are and helps you move forward.
